RENTAL AGREEMENT ADDENDUM

FOR CARD ACCESS GATES

  1. Gate cards for gate access. Each person who is 18 years of age or older and listed as a tenant on the lease will be givena card to use during his or her rental term. Each additional card for you or others will require a $_______ non-refundable fee.
  1. Damaged, lost or unreturned cards. If a card is lost, stolen or damaged, a $_______ fee will be charged for areplacement card. If a card is not returned or is returned damaged when you move out, there will be a $_______ deduction from the security deposit.
  1. Report damage or malfunctions. Please immediately report to the office any malfunction or damage to gates, fencing,locks or related equipment.
  1. Follow written instructions. You and all other persons who you allow to have access to your storage space must readand follow the rules described below regarding the access gates, as well as the rules in the TSSA Rental Agreement. This is important for everyone’s safety. If the gates are damaged by you or your family, guest or invitee through negligence or misuse, you are liable for the damages under your lease, and collection of damage amounts will be pursued. Please direct any additional questions regarding access gate operations to the management.
  1. Personal injury and/or personal property damage. Anything mechanical or electronic is subject to malfunction. Fencing, gates or other devices will not prevent all crime. No security system or device is foolproof or 100 percent successful in deterring crime. Crime can still occur. Protecting tenants and their invitees from crime is the sole responsibility of tenants and law enforcement agencies. You should first call 911 or other appropriate emergency police numbers if a crime occurs or is suspected. WE ARE NOT LIABLE TO ANY TENANT OR INVITEE FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH OR DAMAGE/LOSS OF PERSONAL PROPERTY FROM INCIDENTS RELATED TO PERIMETER FENCING, VEHICLE ACCESS GATES, PEDESTRIAN ACCESS GATES, OR OTHER SIMILAR DEVICES.
  1. Rules in using vehicle gates.

The undersigned will comply with the foregoing and acknowledges that it is part of the rental agreement for the space(s) described above.
